Hello, I'm Mitch from Mishmash Records.
Many of you will probably know me from Instagram or Facebook as "that crazy Smiths guy" who posts every day!
I've been passionately collecting The Smiths for nearly 12 years, spending countless hours tracking down rare records, memorabilia, and some truly incredible finds. Mishmash Records officially began around eight years ago on Discogs before expanding to Instagram and Facebook, where I found an amazing community of fellow collectors and fans.
I specialise in all things The Smiths and Morrissey, so if you ever have a question about collecting, rare releases, or memorabilia, don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm also always happy to help with signature authentication and related queries.
Since then, the Mishmash community has grown to more than 55,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Along the way, we've had the privilege of hosting Q&A sessions with Mike Joyce and, most recently, curating There's Music & There's People, a major exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Queen Is Dead at the Salford Lads Club. The exhibition welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors across two days and was an incredible experience.
